Odorfix Plus microbial culture works like this:

The microbes are the catalysts that rapidly break down the urine, feces, vomit, or other organic waste.

•  The microbes go into a feeding frenzy, multiplying many times over. They consume all the urine, feces, or other waste throughout the entire area until no waste remains.

•  The microbes convert the organic waste, such as cat urine, leaving only carbon dioxide, water and trace elements of fatty acids in their wake. The entire process terminates along with the odor.

Billions of ravenous, gluttonous microbes, gorge themselves on urine stains (or other organic waste), leaving only carbon dioxide, water and trace elements of fatty acids in their wake. It doesn’t get better than this!

Nature has been degrading organic waste with microbes for a very long time. Bioremediation simply shortens the process by adding great quantities of the non-toxic, non-pathogenic and naturally occurring microbes specifically chosen to degrade the offending waste; urine, feces, vomit.

The objective in bioremediation is to put as many waste-degrading microbes as possible in contact with the waste product. Once the microbes are in touch with the contamination, the feeding frenzy begins.

Organic waste is the food source for the friendly microbes, they are living organisms they will consume and multiply as long as the food source is available. They just have to be able to get to it. It doesn't really matter what or even where the organic food supply is; it could be in your carpet, upholstery, clothes, basement, or even in your septic system. Specially formulated bacteria will infiltrate the area and consume all the odor-causing waste until it's gone.

Organic waste is comprised of chains of carbon molecules. Some carbon chains are long. Some are short. Animal urine, restaurant grease, septic sludge, and manure are a few examples of organic waste. The microbes "eat," or rather "break down," the carbon chains until the contaminant is completely eliminated.

Our product is absolutely effective and environmentally safe because they work with the natural biological process in which bacteria consume organic material that causes odor (including dog and cat urine, feces, blood, vomit, and other waste products). The bacteria naturally consume the cause of the odor or stain and are completely biodegradable.
